Iqony Sens becomes Iqony Renewables

Following an intensive phase of strategic reorganisation, Iqony Sustainable Energy Solutions GmbH, a subsidiary of the Steag Iqony Group, is now operating under its new name: Iqony Renewables GmbH.

This change of name is accompanied by a comprehensive rebranding - in future, the company will present itself with a modernised brand identity in the Iqony design. The new company name and brand identity mark a significant milestone and emphasise the company's clear commitment to playing a central role in promoting the energy transition. With the name Iqony Renewables GmbH, the company emphasises its commitment to the energy transition and its position as a strategic growth driver of the Steag Iqony Group.

A new name, a clear mission

The name "Iqony Renewables" not only stands for a modern brand image, but also for the strategic realignment and commitment to 100% renewable energies. As the central unit for renewable energies within the Iqony Group, the company aims to play a leading role in Europe.
With a focus on the development, planning and realisation of high-quality solar and wind power projects in key regions such as Germany, France, Italy and the UK, Iqony Renewables is consistently positioning itself as a pure Independent Power Producer (IPP). The company is withdrawing from the EPC and O&M business in order to focus its capacities entirely on its role as an IPP and thus make a significant contribution to the decarbonisation of Europe.
