Waste incineration plant IKW Rüdersdorf, Germany
The IKW Rüdersdorf waste incineration plant thermally recycles processed municipal and industrial waste. Thanks to its technical equipment, the plant can make optimum use of the energy contained in the fuel.
As a result, the plant achieves an unusually high electrical efficiency of around 30 percent for waste incineration plants. By using the energy from waste incineration, IKW Rüdersdorf contributes to securing the long-term power supply for the industrial site.
The plant also provides economic stimulus for the entire region.
