Construction of solar park and substation
La Cabrita, Spain
La Cabrita is the first of a total of four solar parks in the Tinosa pipeline in Spain. With a total output of 50 MWp, the PV system produces around 87 GWh of energy per year thanks to the high solar radiation in the Tabernas desert (Almería).
The solar park was completed in August 2021 and has been feeding green energy into the local grid via the purpose-built ‘La Serrata’ substation ever since.
This will reduce CO2 emissions by 25,000 tonnes per year.
This project underlines our expertise and experience in the EPC sector, which we have built up over many years. However, our focus today is clearly on our role as a leading independent power producer (IPP). Visit our website to find out more about our current projects and our commitment to sustainable energy.
