4.3.4 social networks and media

Icons
Our website has integrated the icons of social networks from Youtube, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter. You can only access these networks via an external link. These are not share-buttons but only hyperlinks.

YouTube (incl. Google Fonts) and embeddings on our website
We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator is YouTube, LLC, a subsidiary of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as "Google").

We use YouTube in extended data protection mode. According to YouTube, this mode causes YouTube not to store information about website visitors before they watch the video. However, the disclosure of data to YouTube partners is not necessarily excluded by the extended data protection mode. Thus, YouTube - regardless of whether you watch a video - establishes a connection to the Google DoubleClick network.

As soon as you start a YouTube video on our website, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. Furthermore, YouTube can save various cookies on your end device after starting a video. With the help of these cookies, YouTube can obtain information about visitors to our website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve the user experience and prevent fraud attempts. Cookies remain on your terminal device until you delete them. If necessary, further data processing operations may be triggered after the start of a YouTube video, over which we have no control.

YouTube uses Google Fonts, which are provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required Google Fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google's servers. Through this, Google gains knowledge that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of YouTube. These processing operations are carried out exclusively after you have given your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO when you activate the YouTube video on our website. You can revoke your consent in the cookie settings at any time.

For information about what data is processed by YouTube and for what purposes this data is used, please refer to YouTube's privacy policy. Information on how to change your privacy settings at Google can be found at https://privacy.google.com/take-control.html?categories_activeEl=sign-in.
