Future-oriented technologies

Renewable energy sources and the technologies that convert them into usable energy are fit for the future. That is accepted and considered desirable at all political levels. Those sources also help to achieve the 2030 and 2045 climate targets in commerce and industry. Energy from renewables is not available in abundance.

It has to be used sparingly, i.e. efficiently. This can be achieved with good monitoring and digitalized control of energy generation facilities. If a process is converted to a sustainable energy supply, this is preceded by an analysis. We determine which energy sources and technologies are to be used. That depends on thermal requirements, cooling needs and peaks in electricity and heat. The latter can be covered efficiently by storage systems. In the case of electricity, a combination of photovoltaics (PV) with combined heat and power plants often makes sense.

Green hydrogen can also be an option for the future. If demand cannot be met by our customers themselves, our Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for green power help. Green heat can be supplied through our heating networks, which use regionally available and renewable energy sources. These networks are always locally and regionally based, which helps to minimize losses.
