Project support

Iqony accompanies your energy transition projects as an experienced service provider. We take on the preliminary and design planning, model cyclical processes with the EBSILON®Professional tool developed in-house, and prepare the necessary feasibility and energy studies.

Throughout the term of the project, which always includes decarbonization strategies, we carefully perform the thermal calculations for boiler units or flow and reaction calculations (CFD).

As a service provider, we supervise all invitations to tender, compare the bids, and start the award negotiations and procurement – always with a view to achieving the greatest possible cost savings, but never at the expense of the feasibility of the project. We take on the planning for official approvals and are also available as an EPC contractor if required.

In this function, for example, we took on the complete dismantling and demolition of the Cologne-Niehl I power plant. As the Owner’s Engineer, we were responsible for the construction of the Süloglu wind farm in Turkey and the installation and operation of the T. A. Lauta waste-to-energy plant.
