Energy efficiency

There is potential for energy savings in every municipality. This applies both to the operation of the local authority itself and to all areas of energy generation and distribution, as well as to transportation.

And it concerns every type of energy – be it electricity, heat or automotive fuels. Each of these areas has to be analyzed and “measured”, because only then is it possible to assess the potential for savings, plan appropriate measures and investments, and thus increase energy efficiency.

In energy generation and distribution in particular, matching supply with demand helps to avoid loads that cost the municipal utility’s customers dearly. Generation capacities that are adjusted in this way and a network that is operated homogeneously are the best indicators of high energy efficiency and thus lower, economically and socially acceptable energy costs.

In municipal properties and companies, our energy management systems help to optimize the running times of facilities and thus reduce maintenance and repair costs. Our storage solutions can also be used here to better balance the supply and demand for energy. Ultimately, greater energy efficiency also means a significant reduction in CO2.
